Potassium humate and sodium humate technology principle

Sodium humate (HA-Na) and potassium humate (HA-K) are collectively known as monovalent metal salts of humic acid, and are the leading products of humic acid (HA). The process principle of HA-Na (K) is in fact ion exchange reaction or metathesis reaction, that is to use alkaline solution to extract HA from raw coal. If the HA in the raw material is free, that COOH and OHph not with the polyvalent metal ions (can be simply expressed as HA-COOH), can be extracted directly by NaOH, KOH, the solution of dissolved substances is the corresponding HA monovalent salt . If the raw material of HA is calcium, magnesium-binding state [can be expressed as HA- (COO) 2Me], then can use Na4P2O7, Na2CO3, K2CO3 as extraction agent, through metathesis reaction, become water insoluble calcium phosphate (magnesium) or carbonic acid Calcium (magnesium) to obtain a water-soluble HA salt.
